Guess what? The devil sets the whole world up, distracting it from the real thing. Not even "Christians" escape his trap, telling themselves, "When I get all those things I want, then I will follow Jesus". In the meantime, they go to church, pray, read the Bible. But there's one thing they forget to ask for, in order to find Life and get Out. So, nothing really works out for you when you're not working to get Her, though you might be tricked into believing the system's illusion of "success", because it pleases the ego.
